For the weekend

make it last loppisIf you live in Stockholm you should definitely join Emma Elwin and other fashionable ladies and gents on their event on Sunday where they sell of selected pieces from their (amazing) wardrobes. I would probably give my left arm to be there as I missed it the last time and not sure I´ll make it this time either…grrr…but if you are in town, don´t miss out!

Classics

wishlist November by Anna Marselius

We have practically stopped giving presents to each other in our family except for to the kids who are not at all into that idea… but since I´m spending a couple of hours in bed with a terrible cold before a big work race this afternoon – I had a little bit of time to dream away. Seems like it always ends up with me wanting classics and often stuff that I´ve dreamed of for a long time but have not afforded or prioritized. Here we go:

1. Cestita, the little sister of Miguel Milá’s famous Cesta lamp, both designed over fifty years ago. 235 Euros, Santa & Cole 2. Big knit love by Natural Wool Knits, 2500 SEK. There are several options of this lovely kind of blanket, if I could knit I would definitely try to make one myself… 3. Bra Val/Good Choice products by Åhléns, table cloths, napkins & kitchen towels in natural colours and ecological cotton. Styling by Lotta Agaton, photo: Mikkel Mortensen 4. Vintage Bertoia Diamond Chair, has been on the list forever. Preferably in all white like this one. Pic by me from Instagram 5. Water pitcher and glass from Granit, 149 SEK. Love the simplicity and design. Perfect next to the bed. Via Riazzoli with thanks 6 & 7. Body & Hand cream from Grown Alchemist. All eco products with environmental awareness and beautiful packaging  8. Paperweight Botanique, 529 SEK, Artilleriet. I´m collecting paperweights and this would make a great addition.

Graanmarkt 13, Antwerp

antwerpen 1 antwerpen 2 antwerpen 3 antwerpen 4 antwerpen 5 antwerpen 6Even though architect Vincent Van Duysen rejects being referred to as minimalist I would probably use that word to describe this beautiful apartment in Antwerp. Owner´s Tim Van Geloven & Ilse Cornelissens first started what is one of Antwerp´s most chic shopping & dining destinations. Since many of their guests often talked about liking what they saw so much they wanted to move in – the idea of making the two top floors of the building into an apartment for rent came up. With Vincent Van Duysen´s help this is the result. So beautiful and serene.

Pics & info from photographer Frederik Vercruysse & Graanmarkt 13. Found via All Is Pretty with thanks.

Weekend wishes

country life 1 country life 2 country lifeOne of the things I love the most is spending time in our country house and every season has got it´s perfection to it. It´s almost December and the temperatures are still mild, there are some leaves left and even though it´s hardly any daylight the full on darkness winter brings in Sweden has not gotten to me quite yet. The weekends might not be as Autumn like as in these pics but I´d love to go for that feeling.
