Flea market

flea 1 flea 2 flea 4Went to the flea market at Melrose & Fairfax this morning and I just love to stroll around looking at things. Found some really nice stuff and bought 2 prints that I just fell in love with and of course they are both coming back with us to Sweden. You can see both prints and a little Flipagram recap of 2014 on my Instagram.

One more round

Even though these are often expensive they still seem to be part of many Swedish homes. A nice and soft contrast to the often more strict interior.

Still going strong

neutrals 1 neutrals 2 neutrals 3 neutrals 4 neutrals 5 neutrals 6hans 1 hans 2 hans 3 hans 4Hope you all have had a great start to the year! Just now I´m sitting in bed after a good night´s sleep with both my children having a very slow and cozy morning. Them with iPads and me with the computor, probably one moment away from breakfast time.

With the new year there is a lot of fun expectations and wishes of what to come and I also really like looking back at the year that passed and what that year was about and what will probably stay with us for some time still. One of the things that I´m sure we will keep on seeing more of are the neutral colors in different shades and tones. Brown, creme and grey with the allowance of darker wood instead of the often very fair Scandi versions. All accompanied with branches  of different  seasons. The first example (pic 1-6) of this is perfectly captured by photographer Pia Ulin & stylist Lotta Agaton. And the second one (pic 7-10) by photographer Marcus Lawett & stylist Hans Blomquist. Neutral, natural & simply lovely.
