Perfect Imperfect

Hopefully it will be with me by the weekend.

This time an apartment in Lidingö (just outside of Stockholm) with an incredible view. You can´t really see it in the pictures but if you are following me on Instagram this place was heavily featured while working there so then you know. There is a big terrace and it really feels like standing on the water while being there and the sun literally hits it from sunrise to sunset. I´ve seen the most incredible examples of both while setting the interior. I really wanted the result to stay calm and not to take over the whole impression as the view and experience of being in the apartment is so powerful in itself. So a little less colour and things than usual for me and more of a clean slate for the future owner to work from. Many thanks to JM and as always to the very best Marie Ramse and Stefan for being by my side, helping me out and saving me during late nights. And to Kristofer for once again having the patience with – this time – super strong daylight and still making it look so good. I hope you like it. Ax

Meridiani showroom in Milan

In Sweden we have for example Linum and Layered, both with amazing spaces and ideas. Here the Italian furniture company Meridiani, located in Milan. So inspirational and beautiful.

Some Friday links

nina campionino 1fullviktigSome things from this week…

  1. This made me laugh out loud. So well written and oh how I can relate. Nina Campioni´s  top 10 of the most annoying things. You can read it here.
  2. An honest and well needed post from one of my favorites, Emma Elwin. We should never be ashamed of our bodies and hopefully with something like this we can be reminded that there is beauty in everything. You can read about it here.
  3. Today Ikea´s collection Fullviktig is released and I can really recommend the ceramics of this serie. I had the pleasure of doing some short films and stills for this collection a few weeks ago (not the picture above but I think you can see it on the big screens outside of the warehouses and other places). The colours and shapes are so pretty and the story behind it inspirational. Read more about it and see the full collection here.
