By one of my favorites: Gather & Feast.
I was so happy and overwhelmed last year to be part of the top 10 Interior Bloggers in Sweden in the Elle Decoration Swedish Design Awards. Now it´s time to nominate again and I would be lying if I said I wouldn’t´ be extremely happy if you took the time to vote again. For me or for another favorite, or both. Only a few days left, last day to vote is October 15th. Since I don´t look at statistics that much from being a non-commercial blog I really did appreciate it so much more getting your feedback last year by being nominated so I want to say a big thanks for that! It means a lot since I really put a lot of time and effort in the blog and sharing it with you makes it worth everything.
As I know I have a lot of international readers, a quick translation of the voting page that you can find here . Scroll down the page and then field 1: Name of you favorite blogger, 2: Why do you think this blog should win? What do you like about it?, 3: You first name, 4: Your surname. (Leave boxes without a star), 8: Your emailadress & finally just click approval in the last box with a star attached to it. Then just press send through the big black button and you vote is in.
Thank you! ❤️
When working with curtains and how to hang those I always go as high up to the ceiling as possible and preferably also use rails that you can´t even see when the curtains are closed. The typical hotel curtain look if you know what I mean. For the passed months I´ve been more and more intrigued by using black rails instead and letting them become a part of the installation. The apartment featured here is a great example of that. It adds character to the room and I really like seeing not only the same solution everywhere. What do you think, do you like it? Had to put some non-curtain images of the kitchen in there as well as it looked so nice.
If you are interested in trying a similar solution you can for example find it at for example Artilleriet or at Ikea.. And to see the rest of this overall inspiring apartment for sale you can find it here.
This weekend has been all about getting ready for winter at the country house and also about making some changes interior wise. Our first project is one of the bedrooms that used to have only a double and a massive closet in it. The closet is now gone – love when things you don´t longer have need for end up being someone else´s treasure. Instead of the closet there is now a bunkbed for the kids so that we can sleep all four in one room. Next up is repainting the walls and adding details to make the room feel new again. We are aiming for a long lasting, classic and elegant look and feeling. Neutral colors all over, soft grey walls in combination with the wooden floor that has aged really beautifully. Can´t wait to finishing it all in a few weeks!
My mood board consists of mixed pics via Pinterest.
Mixed Pinterest inspiration before heading to the country house. Have a great weekend everybody!
Did you know you can follow me on Bloglovin´ as well? I almost didn’t so you can understand my excitement when I realized I´ve got no less than 52 643 amazing followers there! That is crazy!! Since I don´t run a commercial blog I don´t check statistics but of course nothing makes me happier than if someone like what I do here. So so glad & thankful that you guys stay with me, lots of love to you ❤️

Travel: The only place I want to go to right now….our second home. Long walks by the sea, good food, sauna and after a very cold jump in the ocean you are as good as new.

Shoes: I should probably look for Wellies but all I want now are these leopard prints. Preferably without the detailing though.
Flower: Heading for Fall most of the flowers entering my home right now are in this shade. Love going darker when the evenings are getting longer and longer. Trying to embrace what´s to come. Also perfect combined with milky whites.
Outfit: This coat – ”Annecy” by Totême is more than welcome to join my closet.
Food: Anything with chanterelles is on my wishlist right now. I´m probably going to have to go get some for tonight already. One of my absolute favorites. This chanterelles soup with bacon and goat cheese toast looks delicious.

Series: OMG it´s not for sensitive people, makes you feel sick at times but it´s also really good. Based on Margaret Atwood´s novel of dystopia Gilead, Elisabeth Moss is brilliant in the role as ”Offred”.
Sustainable pick: From September 30th until October 8th Naturskyddsföreningen are running the initiative of ”The environmental friendly week”. This time focus is what kind of beauty products we use and what is in them; soap, shampoo, lotions etc etc. We need to get better to make sure that what we are using is actually truly environmentally friendly and Naturskyddsföreningen is trying to help for example by putting their label on products that have been approved through their guidelines & also by pushing companies and others to only use approved products. You can read more and participate in the campaign here.
Music: This song has been with me since released and I don´t get tired of it. If you haven´t already listened to it – take a few minutes now. Lana Del Rey feat. Sean Lennon with ”Tomorrow Never Came” of the Lust for Life album.
