I was hoping to use this cutie for a lamp for my latest JM project but unfortunately time was not on my side so had to give up that plan. The Night Owl designed by Nikolai Wiig Hansen for Lightyears is a new favorite of mine that I really hope to get to use soon for any of the up coming projects.
Spent the morning in a super inspiring environment chez Dry Creative Projects consisting of Dry Things, Dry Costume & the base of a bureau with focus on creative direction, art direction och design. In addition to wanting to move in I also want to purchase all of their things. Have a look here to see more or drop by their showroom at Upplandsgatan 36.
I know we have already entered November so it´s a little bit late but could´t resist starting the weekend with a list for October anyway. Happy weekend everybody!
Shoes: I really want a pair of burgundy heals (not that I wear heals that often, especially not in bed, but still enjoy dreaming about it). Those heals look super thin and will probably cause a fracture but oh how they would make any outfit more fun.
Office: Last week I did a photo shoot for Residence Magazine in a home with an amazing home office to be inspired by. I love working for them as it always takes me to amazing places. The issue will be out next month and until then the colours and textures of this space will stay in my mind. It´s an office corner of a bedroom of Mauritzhof Hotel in Münster.
Food: I´ve only made something with pumpkin once and that was cooking pumpkin soup when living in Paris 18 years ago so I can´t really say it´s one of my signature ingredients. But yesterday I had the most amazing warm pumpkin, sage & almond dish and now all I want to do is try something similar again. This recipe of Maple roasted pumpkin with chili and feta looked really good, maybe something for the weekend?

Series: Have always had a crush on Sarah Jessica Parker, from Girls Just Wanna Have Fun to classic Sex & The City. So needless to say I was really happy to see her star in the new series ”Divorce” on HBO, so good.
Sustainable pick: How come all products always empty at the same time? They are not at least by me used in the same way, the bottles are of different sizes and so on but still it seems they follow the same trend. This time I want to find some new products as I have always used the same and found Moonsun over at Make It Last. Good reviews, organic and with high quality ingredients. Please make me glow!
Music: Solange´s album ”A Seat at the Table” was released in September and has been the soundtrack of my work days since then. One of those albums that put you in a good and calm mood.
My third project for JM is now up on the Hitta Hem blog and here some pieces of that. This time an apartment in Lidingö (just outside of Stockholm) with an incredible view. You can´t really see it in the pictures but if you are following me on Instagram this place was heavily featured while working there so then you know. There is a big terrace and it really feels like standing on the water while being there and the sun literally hits it from sunrise to sunset. I´ve seen the most incredible examples of both while setting the interior. I really wanted the result to stay calm and not to take over the whole impression as the view and experience of being in the apartment is so powerful in itself. So a little less colour and things than usual for me and more of a clean slate for the future owner to work from. Many thanks to JM and as always to the very best Marie Ramse and Stefan for being by my side, helping me out and saving me during late nights. And to Kristofer for once again having the patience with – this time – super strong daylight and still making it look so good. I hope you like it. Ax
I just love brands that know the importance of presentation and having your own showroom is of course a deluxe version of dito. In Sweden we have for example Linum and Layered, both with amazing spaces and ideas. Here the Italian furniture company Meridiani, located in Milan. So inspirational and beautiful.

Love what Marie Ramse has done with this 144m2 house by JM in Fredsborg. The wall colour in the bedroom, all the lightings, the office desk, the dining chairs and the total sense of calmness. Super well done, Marie! Will call you regarding colour code for the bedroom….perfection.
Every now and then I´m looking for an office just because I have a dream of decorating it and making it my space. But then reality checks in and I see myself not sitting on a chair that often but being out on photo shoots, meetings, props hunts etc etc and then all of a sudden an office seems like an unnecessary investment. Nevertheless, the daydream never stops and for sure I´m going to end up with my own space sometime – hopefully shared with similar minds! Until then I´ll keep on pinning spaces that inspire and this is one of them.
Very talented stylist Pella Hedeby really knows the challenges with turning modern architecture for the masses into something interesting and personal and here is a great example of that. Residence Magazine has once again teamed up with Riksbyggen and this time it was Pella´s turn to decorate. The result is calm, serene with neutral colours and beautiful pieces. I really liked that they made a video as well where you can see more angles of the apartment and how much the interior decoration actually adds.
