October to me means starting fresh. As the days get darker you get more tired and the count for endless colds is just about to start. So from now (started already on Monday but if you would like to join what day is better than the first day of the month?):
Exercise minimum three times/week, no alcohol, no sugar, no shopping, as much clean eating as possible, spend as much time as I possibly can outside and to me probably most importantly – making sure to go to bed earlier. Set your own goals or maybe join mine. Welcome October! xx
Ps. Why I´m writing this is because I´m the worst at keeping longer promises like this, I tend to go all in during the first two weeks and then slowly go back to old habits…But I´m hoping that if I put this down in words with you as witnesses I´ll hopefully feel even more motivated Ds.
Just got such a good feeling from these pics found via Elements of Style so had to borrow them straight off. Many thanks for the inspiration, need to go get a chunky sweater on right now!
Last year my Autumn mood was darker with blue and dark grey tones. This year I´m longing for beige, brown, different shades of white, chunky knits, sandy touches and rough structures combined with the clean and simple. That´s interior life, always changing and often back to basics after a while of experimenting.
You can see last year´s Autumn mood here (one of them, made many….). All pics for this year´s mood borrowed from the lovely The Gifts of Life with thanks.

One of the things I love the most is spending time in our country house and every season has got it´s perfection to it. It´s almost December and the temperatures are still mild, there are some leaves left and even though it´s hardly any daylight the full on darkness winter brings in Sweden has not gotten to me quite yet. The weekends might not be as Autumn like as in these pics but I´d love to go for that feeling.

Perfect inspiration while working from home with the rain pouring down outside.

New work for magazine Rum Hemma in stores now. A really fun job where I painted this amazing 8 cornered room from white to dark grey and what a difference it made. All product info and more pictures in the magazine and for anyone who would like to try the colour, it is Alcro´s Pigeon Grey.
