A longer break from the blog than planned but time is something that I would need more of at the moment. One of the things that have been shown in several places is this creative and smart home by interior designer and shop owner, Joanna Bagge. Especially like the bedroom divided by an industrial black window fronting the kid´s beds. Also very nice to see some white metal instead of all the brass everywhere at the moment.
Love this apartment in the latest issue of Elle Decoration UK, styled by Saša Antić and photographed by Kristofer Johnsson. So rare to get to see kids rooms in interior magazines today that are not family focused, so was extra excited to get some teenage inspo as my kid´s are getting older and especially my son is asking for some change.
It was a really long time ago I put something out for the kids here and that´s a shame because I really enjoy that category and often get questions on the topic. First of all I don´t want you to miss out on a childhood friend of mine – Katrin Bento Connault – who has a webshop based in Paris called Dino Deluxe. It´s just lovely and I wish I could buy all of the cute clothes for my kids. You can find the webshop here and the Insta account @dinodeluxe.fr
Also I just saw these cute beds for the kids and yes – they are indeed expensive – but still so very nice at minimum to be inspired by. Sold via Artilleriet.
One house that many probably have picked up on right now is the house of model & stylist Malin Persson who used to live in Milan but now has moved back to the south of Sweden in an adorable house with furniture details to die for. I just love the big cupboard in the kitchen, the bathroom & the cozy feeling it has to it. Currently featured in both Elle Decoration Sweden & here from the fairly new interesting online magazine The Way We Play. Also – don´t miss out on their visit to the amazing and very inspiring Hanna Wessman of Hanna´s Room.
All pics from The Way We Play by photographer Linda Alvegren with thanks.
I´ve noticed that one thing you seem to fancy a lot (and that I will try to get better at showing more of) is kid´s rooms. I really enjoy that too but sometimes it is hard to find inspirational features that are not too cute or so stylish it almost becomes silly. The amazing Milk Magazine is great for inspiration and just in case you haven´t discovered Designmom yet, there is some good stuff there as well (the two pics from there). Go check it out if you like or visit my Pinterest album on the same topic.
One of the things I get most questions about is kids rooms so here I´m going bananas with no less than 17 examples with very nice ideas & details. Great for me too as I´m gathering inspiration for a photo shoot next week with kids and interior as a big part of it. I will put a pic out on Instagram today as well from my son´s room to add to this bonanza. If you still can´t get enough, please feel free to enter my favorite blogs that are so inspirational on this topic, Weekday Carnival, Mokkasin & Varpunen.
