Hi from LA!

Hope you all are having a great start to 2017. Things have been a bit slow on the blog due to holiday in Los Angeles but I´ll make sure to check in here and there anyway. Here are some postcards of the days that have passed. Happy New Year everybody!

1.Pokémon break on Santa Monica pier. We have heard that this spot would be great for Pokémon hunt and the success was total. 2. Waking up to this view every day is just incredible. Need to pinch my arm constantly. 3. Our first lunch in summer heat at favorite Shutters on The Beach. 4. Butcher´s Daughter in Venice, very nice spot. 5. Christmas with friends in Los Feliz. 6. One one side the ocean and the other mountains tops covered in snow. Opposites attract 7. Bike ride along the coast. Love it. 8. Highlights of 2016 #bestnine. 9. Low tide walk in Malibu, Paradise Cove

Tomorrow is a new day

Lucylaucht Insta 1 Lucylaucht Insta 2 Lucylaucht Insta 3Today has probably been the worst day of this year and I can´t tell you how relieved I am that it´s evening and getting closer to a new day to come. All of us have days like that and we need a bit of comfort when that happens. To me it was hugging the kids for a really long time after school and now just to take deep breaths safe and sound at home. The view and scenery of these amazing pictures is what I will try to focus on when falling as sleep tonight. So glad to have found the Instagram account of @lucylaucht just now. And as always – tomorrow is a new day.

Weekend postcards

Some Instagram postcards from Nice where we just spent a long weekend to celebrate my father´s 70th birthday. True luxury getting to do this and to make summer feel longer. Now back to work!

Looking back

A little recap of the latest weeks of my Instagram. Seems to be a lot about food, flowers, curtains in the wind and rooms and views to die for. No rocket science, just pure and sweet shallowness.

1.) from yesterday´s shoot for Ikea. Spring theme with lots of goodies and beautiful flowers. 2.) our Valborg dinner where the kids & I picked massive bouquets of white anemonies then placed in small vases on the table. No further decoration needed. 3.) a flashback to the last day of finalizing my project for JM. We struggled a bit with the light in this specific corner when shooting it the day after and this is just a glimpse of an angel that we never had the chance to capture. 4.) Unfortunately don´t have the credits for this amazing picture but it´s not often you find something you haven’t seen before and that makes your heart take an extra beat. Love this one. 5.) I could live on this forever. Starters with hot chili shrimps on some and Skagen on the others. Topped with red and black caviar, some pepper and dill. 6.) Waking up to a sunny morning on the last ski holiday of this season. 7.) Dining room love from an apartment for sale. More pics on the blog here. 8.) a 5 star afternoon at my sister´s with the kids catching some sun before tacos and ice cream bonanza. 9.) Color explosion at Makalösa Blommor.

Work

Last week was all about putting weeks of preparations into reality. My second project for building developer JM,  a 4 room apartment with terass. So much fun doing these projects, especially since I have the privilege to work with so many nice people but also because of the assignment itself with lots of things to consider when doing this. Here are some snapshots (from my Instagram) of what has been going on and in just a few weeks the final result will be released via the Hitta Hem blog.

Now back to commercial shoots and making mood boards for another up coming project. Have a great week everyone! xx

LA Life

Touch down LA for Christmas and New Years. It´s always a bit strange finding Christmas spirit among palm trees and summer views but getting these rays of sun and just being able to spend time with family and friends is gold. I´ll up date the blog here and there too, but you are also welcome to join me on Instagram for daily views. Hope you all are having (or at least soon) a nice holiday xx

Instagram pictures by me, 1st from our first night staying at the Mondrian hotel before getting access to the house and the 3rd one with my daughter on a morning walk on the beach. 2nd borrowed from Pinterest, source unknown.
