I want to do something about our kitchen. It´s a Poggenpohl kitchen with Gaggenau stove, micro etc (from when moving in). Without wanting to do be a live add for those specific brands I have to say, well done! With sustainability in mind I can´t really just throw our kitchen out as it´s still very well functioning but seeing kitchens and cooperations that my blog colleagues do or several other kitchens with more details of my taste, I´m really up for setting dreams to reality. Major inspiration here from Sundling Kickén, with photo by Osman Tahir . Very similar to my kitchen dream pins since way back. Sure this kind of kitchen is a peaking trend right now, but it was there the whole time & I personally never got tired of it and probably never will…But.. ps. The actual choice is far from done….Ds.

Workspace
I´m personally not a fan of having my desk in our bedroom (I used to have it that way and had trouble relaxing while seeing the piles of work when going to bed at night). But if I where to have a work space in the bedroom again these images felt very inspiring. Also great for a smaller space.

NoMad LA
We are soon off for LA again & this time my mother and my sister and her family will join us and I just can´t wait to show them around. The other day was a bit hectic though as one of our two house rentals was cancelled last minute. Apparently the previous tenant had been so reckless that major renovations have to be done…. Luckily we found a new house that seems really good too so fingers crossed the pictures are telling the truth. Meanwhile searching for places to stay I stumbled across the recently opened NoMad Hotel. A drink on that roof top is now on the to do list.

Longing for Marrakech
There is nothing that make me want to see and go to a place better than Cereal Magazine and especially the photography by Rich Stapleton. All of the features are so beautiful. This piece on Marrakech is no exception.

At home with
No surprise there is a stylist living in this apartment. This is the home of interior stylist Elin Kickén , 1/2 of very talented stylist duo SundlingKickén with impeccable taste. Don´t miss out on their blog either, it´s a daily read for me. Inspiring interviews, monochrome deco in featured color scheme, products to wish for and images from their work. You can find it here.

Window on the lake
Only steps away from the shores of Lac Plaisant in the Mauricie region of Canada, this house looks as if it could easily have been located in Sweden as well. Oh how I wish we could higher the ceiling in our summer house like this as well. We have a similar solution in the dining room but the older part of the house has a lower ceiling and it would make such a difference to get it higher as well. One day…
