Yesterday was auction day for a sofa that I fell head over heels in love with a week ago. I decided to buy it no matter what, even if we have absolutely no space to put an extra sofa in the house. I would just have had to find a way to work it out. But in the end, just minutes away from closing time, someone raised the bid so much so that I had to give up. I guess you can’t pay whatever amount for passion when you have nowhere to put it….but today I can´t stop thinking about it. A dark grey wall behind it….Am I exaggerating or is it not absolutely wonderful?
I find myself often obsessing over beautiful things, but faced with limitations of both space and money, so I know exactly how you feel. The only thing that makes me feel better is to realize that beautiful things are so many out there, that I will never be able to own them all! All I can do is draw inspiration from them for the future. Beautiful blog and love your style!
