I´m decorating office spaces whenever I can find the time and this space was inspirational too me. Obviously the architecture in itself is very rare, especially here in Stockholm, but you can always take bits and pieces and translate it into wherever you are. And in this case, maybe add some colour.
Yes I know, 8 days of December have already passed by but didn´t want to miss out on a list for November so here we go:
Travel: This magical camp is not where I´m spending my time at the moment but I am in South Africa (in Cape Town) for a week of work and am super excited as I´ve never been here before. The image is from Singita Lebombo in South Africa, at the border with Mozambique. I would love to travel Africa more and really enjoyed Condé Nasts guide to the best safari lodges and camps. Photo by Adrian Leuw.
Flower: I used to not like Amaryllis at all but that has changed over the past years and now I love sprinkling them all over our home counting down the days before Christmas.
Outfit: All of a sudden I had to think about putting this pale piece of body in summer clothes again and I just missed a similar dress as they ran out of it. Such a shame as that would have been the perfect work outfit for me.
Outdoor space: I unfortunately can´t show you pics of the amazing location we are shooting at but like in this image it has this incredible sense of no walls between indoor and outdoors, topped with amazing views over Cape Town and the ocean. The advantage of living in a climate warmer than ours.
Office: In the current issue of Residence Magazine the home of Fashion editor Daniel Lindström is featured. I had the pleasure of styling that job and fell in love with his home office space. I love books and what they add to an interior and this was certainly no exception. Would love to sit there reading and writing.

Words: Those words have been in my head for some weeks as I´m struggling so hard with fear of flying and leaving the kids back home. But I´ve made the decision not to let my fears limit my life and here I am. Super happy about this experience of work yet anxious of getting on a plane in a few hours again. Some day I´m hoping to reach a better balance where fear is no longer an issue.
Sustainable pick: It´s Christmas soon and with that comes Christmas gifts. We are trying to clean out all of the toys, clothes and books that the kids are not using any more to pass that forward to someone who will treasure them more. Most things still look brand new and deserves more rounds of fun. And re-gifting, I think that is great! Old gifts that where not right for you, pass it forward instead of only buying new stuff.
Music: I´m having some difficulties with this category this month as I´m currently sitting in the lobby of the hotel while they are vacuuming the floors and are playing crazy high speed lounge jazz. Not much of inspiration to say the least. Christmas music old style has been the only thing I´ve been listening to for the last month as I have really been in a Christmas mood but this cutie from People People was just added to my wishlist when seeing it over at Hanna Wessman.
In the current issue of Residence Magazine this piece is out that I did together with photographer Erik Lefvander as my last job before heading on summer holiday. It´s the home of architect Johnny Andersson of Jordens Arkitekter (who also did this amazing space by the way). Some behind the scenes from the shoot – when picking up all the props I the whole time heard that my car engine did not sound as it use to. I barely got out of there with a fully packed car and just as I parked next to our house it died…Luckily after the shoot and not before. And for the image with the jeans hanging on that wall, I really wanted an extra pair and there where none available. So I want to say an extra thanks to photographer Erik that took one for the team taking this pic with no pants on and offering the best laugh of the day!

Ok, so managed to stay away from the stomach flu for a full week even though it´s been haunting our house just to end up with a really bad food poisoning for the weekend (won’t´be eating parma ham anytime soon…). Lots and lots of work that was to say the least a challenge to juggle throughout this not so amazing experience. But! No rain, no flowers. So many fun projects at the moment and a a super exciting work trip across the world to somewhere I´ve never been next week. No I just need to manage my scare of flying and tick of all of those things to do before leaving. New week, here we go!
