From Mexico City & Antwerp to Paris. Since there has been a lack of updates the past two weeks here comes inspiration deluxe by Belgian architect Nicolas Schuybroek. Previously featured here , here & here.
Sorry for long absence here on the blog, thanks so much for sticking with me. It´s been some hectic weeks but now it´s starting to slow down a bit before heading off on summer holiday. To keep the energy up I´ve ended up on several locations like this one – dreaming of summer, endless views, sun, good food and evening swims. Probably won´t be the last house like this you see here….This one is located in Brissago, Switzerland by Lake Maggiore & is designed by Wespi De Meuron Romeo Architects.

Oh how I love the month of May! Here we go with some goodies on my mind before heading off to June:
Travel: I have to be honest, camping is not really my thing. I´m one of those silly persons who think a bear will eat you up as soon as your eyes are closed but now I´ve found something to look into! Terra Glamping, that would be something! In decorated tents with an incredible view of the ocean just along Highway 1 in California. Yep, goes right on the to do list.

Shoes: Really like these suede flats by Valerie & Heelow. Perfect with jeans and a basic top. By a quick look I could´t find them in my size though, hopefully they will restock soon.

Flower: Without doubt – and this will always be my flower choice for as long as the season is right – peonies. Along with lilacs of course but peonies are for the win as they last longer.
Outfit: All I want, blue jeans and a striped shirt. Simple as that.

Bedroom: Hello & yes please, If I´m not going glamping I just might do this instead.

Office: I don´t remember if it was here on the blog or on Instagram I posted this image the first time but I know I reacted to how many people then was equally taken by it as me. This space…yes. Many great things would come from there, I´m sure of it.

Words: Nothing is as good as Instagram, blogs and what more. I´ve struggled a bit lately with things not at all going the way I planned but I´m not ready to give up. I know my destination and with a little luck and a lot of continuous hard work I´ll hopefully be on my way.

Food: The grill is already constantly on and the love for prime veggies has never been bigger than in Springtime.

Movie: Not a new one but if you haven´t already seen it, please do. Such a moving story with an amazing cast and photography.

Sustainable pick: Layered recently launched their Recycle collection described like this ”handwoven rugs made of recycled PET bottles. Melted bottles are used to produce a thread, which in turn is spun into yarn. The resulting handwoven rugs have the same look, texture and softness as traditional wool rugs

Music: Jennie Abrahamson released her album Reverseries in January and the one track that has been played over and over again is the so beautiful ”Don´t Talk”.

Would´t mind checking in at this beautiful place some day, Hotel Monteverdi in Tuscany, Italy.
We are ready for some of this now, right?! Change of colour scheme and salty vibes.

For those of you who have been with me for some time you know I am a big fan of smart and good looking solutions for smaller spaces. This apartment is a perfect example of that you can do so much in a smaller space too.

So happy that it´s suppose to be a bit warmer again tomorrow as I´ll be heading of with 25 kids for a weekend on an island in the Swedish archipelago. It´s my son´s classmates and 9 parents and we are going to celebrate the 4 years they have had together before moving on to the next grade. So rise and shine tomorrow for an early start to what I love the most, sea air and views. Happy weekend everyone!
