I´m currently looking into several solutions for hand- & custom made interior decoration for one of my projects and ended up at the homepage of KBH Københavns Møbelsnedkeri that I´ve admired so many times before. The blue kitchen is one of my all time favorites and the grey one I just found now and fell in love with. Look at that bathroom cabinet & the Dedar sofa in fumed oak, brass and velvet is pure perfection too.
Very talented stylist Pella Hedeby really knows the challenges with turning modern architecture for the masses into something interesting and personal and here is a great example of that. Residence Magazine has once again teamed up with Riksbyggen and this time it was Pella´s turn to decorate. The result is calm, serene with neutral colours and beautiful pieces. I really liked that they made a video as well where you can see more angles of the apartment and how much the interior decoration actually adds.
There was a time where I thought it wasn´t satisfying featuring only sketches and not real pictures of houses and projects here on the blog. But as the technique gets better and the limits of imagination is then non existing it´s becoming more and more interesting. This is the Poplar House in Memphis by architect studio Adam Jordan. How about taking a bath in that setting? You can see more of their inspiring spaces here.

The wall colors really set the mood for this entire apartment. Such a calm and exclusive feeling. Perfect inspiration as I´m just heading off to pick wall colors and wall paper for all the rooms of a house I´m currently decorating.

The rain is pouring down outside so what could be more perfect than daydreaming away to this incredible holiday spot. Satellite Island in Tasmania, Australia, certainly is something different from most things, beautifully captured by Luisa Brimble.
It´s so rare but becoming more and more important to present the products you are selling in a personal yet clean and clear way. There are examples in Sweden too but today I have to mention Japanese Hike as the perfect front runner. Not only do the pieces look great in their way of presenting them but you can also properly see details and the fine linings that are often missed. Love it.

Today has probably been the worst day of this year and I can´t tell you how relieved I am that it´s evening and getting closer to a new day to come. All of us have days like that and we need a bit of comfort when that happens. To me it was hugging the kids for a really long time after school and now just to take deep breaths safe and sound at home. The view and scenery of these amazing pictures is what I will try to focus on when falling as sleep tonight. So glad to have found the Instagram account of @lucylaucht just now. And as always – tomorrow is a new day.
