Since I´m constantly on the lookout for nice places to stay I was really curious of this this place this morning found via Irene Berni of @valdirose on Instagram. Such a lovely house and location. It´s located in Puglia, just on the heel of Italy and you can rent it via here. Irene and her family are also running a charming B&B just outside of Florence so if you are heading to Italy soon, also check out Valdirose B&B
Sorry for the absence here on the blog but sometimes I feel it´s really important to take a break and just enjoy off-line time, this time for Fall break with the family. Now back in town fully charged and starting of this week with sketches of a in home Mykonos, Greece, filled with earthy materials and an outdoor space for dreams to come.
Reconversion of a 1934 Modernistic villa by Nachman Kaplansky. Photo by Jeroen Verrecht. Via Divisare with thanks.
Oh how I wish this house ends up in the right hands with someone who will take care of that beautiful garden and preserve it´s architecture. Villa Wehtje is on of six villas in Sweden, created by Josef Frank and built in 1936.
Placed in Falsterbo & for sale here.
Inspired by blogger The Dashing Rider this morning. In addition to impeccable taste in fashion it seems we share an interest for interiors as well. The Richard Neutra VDL House goes straight on the list of things to visit when in LA next time. Open to public on Saturdays 11am to 3pm.
All pics in this post by The Dashing Rider with thanks.
Via recently discovered IEscape that I can highly recommend for ideas on where to go. And as always this is a non sponsored post.
The weekend home of interior designer Kelly Wearstler is as bold her designs. Situated in Malibu, California with incredible views over the Pacific Ocean this place is really something extra. When in LA the last time I visited Kelly Wearstler´s flagship boutique on 8440 Melrose Avenue and I spent a really long time in there just amazed by all of her designs. Often it´s far from what my imagination would even come up with and there where so many objects that I just fell in love with and wanted to take home. In addition, the staff in her store where so lovely and interesting to talk to. Don´t miss out if in LA.
