Hi everyone! Long time no see ♥️ I thought that maybe after so many months away from the blog, that was the end of it all but I guess I love this space to much to leave it completely just yet. I´ve got some fun projects going on at the moment and much inspiration to be shared so welcome back everyone. I really hope you are all doing well and want to continue this journey together xx
Some pics from yesterday´s lovely breakfast for Moreno California. Congratulations and good luck to my sweet friend Jennie Hammar to the launch of her new brand starting with three scented candles: Silverlake, Point Dume (my favorite) and Joshua Tree. Having creative friends is the best inspiration & an added value is that my home now smells absolutely wonderful. You can see more here and buy the candles here. Good luck Jennie!

Happy New Year to all of you! I´ve been away for a while for various reasons but I´m not going to disappear completely. Just needed a break and am now on a holiday where I hope not to be too much online so bare with me. Surely 2018 will offer lots of inspiration that I hope to share with you as usual. Before then, you can always see more on Instagram @annagillar.
Above a little hello from our current home in Malibu that we arrived to today after 5 lovely days with friends in Culver City. We have been dreaming of living at the beach in Malibu for a long time and now that dream is coming through. So grateful and excited and I can´t wait to wake up tomorrow to experience the first morning in this lovely place.
Take care everyone and best wishes for the new year! Anna xx
Sorry for the long pause but what has happened here in Stockholm and what has been happening all around the world has made everything else seem non important. I´m not very good at dealing with all the hatred and violence that keeps many of us on our toes so having and continuing with since before scheduled plans is not as clear as one would have hoped. But like a friend of mine so wisely said today – there is no way of constantly protecting yourself and since life is so fragile and precious – we should without doubt still make the most out of it. With that in mind I´ll try to put all of the anxiety aside and enjoy what is coming. For those of you who read the monthly list for March you know my husband had planned a surprise trip for me and tomorrow it´s happening. I wasn´t suppose to know the destination but in a brief moment he accidentally talked about Paris and then I knew. Paris really has a special place in my heart since I lived there for a year and I´ll do my very best to make the next date as special as ever xx
Will not bring my computer so please feel free to join on Instagram instead.

I work with some really good people assisting me on and around my projects but I´m currently in need of finding an additional person to help out. I work as an interior stylist on commercial and editorial shoots, decorate both private homes and offices and have several other up coming projects too.
Are you a freelancing interior styling/decorator assistant or want to become one (or even looking for an internship), please send me an email with a few words about yourself and a CV. It is not a full time position, it could be hours here or days there. Most of my jobs are in the Stockholm area so it will definitely help if you are nearby. You need to be handy, organized, solution oriented, flexible & always up for new challenges as you never know what is coming next in this job. A driver´s license and access to a car is definitely a plus. And hopefully you are at least close to having similar taste and aesthetics as me since I will trust you in helping me finding beautiful things for photo shoots and other projects. Most importantly – it should be fun going to work so hopefully you are a very positive one too.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
You can find me here firstname.lastname@example.org
It´s time for this year´s nominations to interior blogger of the year and of course I would be super happy if you wanted to put your vote in for me (or any other favorite you might have). The blog with most votes end up among the top 10. It´s crazy competition for this one as we really do have so many strong and great interior bloggers in Sweden so to even get there would almost take miracles…but one should at least always aim for success, right? Only takes a few seconds and can be found here. It´s unfortunately written in Swedish though and as I have many international readers, please let me know if you need translation and I will be more than happy to provide you with one . Axx
Update: Since I´ve already have had questions about translation on the voting page, please see the comments for this note where you can find everything from Swedish to English. Thank you for voting!
Only mobile pic quality here but thought that this restaurant in Nice deserved it´s own space. Such a nice place and scenery. If ever in Nice, don´t miss Le Plongeoir.
All pics by me.
