Paris kind of mood

Paris mood board by Anna Mårselius

I booked a trip to Paris yesterday and I´m so excited about going. It turns out that both my husband and I had planned a surprise trip for each other for both our birthdays and even though the original plan was to go to the Amalfi coast as we haven´t been, we ended up deciding on Paris. I lived there for a year when I was younger, studying French at La Sorbonne. An amazing time but longer ago than I would like to admit so please please if you have any advice on restaurants and nice interior shops I would love to get some (big thanks to Josefin who has already been kind to point me in the right direction).

Believe it or not but I´ve already looked at over a 1000 (!!) apartments…..I know that is probably not normal but I really enjoy it so much… Without doubt we will end up somewhere around Marais. See you in May, Paris!

Spring for sale

for sale 1 for sale 2 for sale 3 for sale 4 for sale 5You can really feel Spring in the air at the moment and this apartment currently for sale in Stockholm (Bromma) really underlines that feeling. Love the styling of Sanna Fischer Nordström as she always has great attention to detail, still lives, wall art, patterns and soft colors. You can see more of Sanna on Instagram here or on here blog here.

Fresh start

new times 1 new times 2 new times 3As for most people the new year comes with new plans, ideas, hopes and goals. I´m really good at breaking all promises that has to do with taking care of myself much better but I truly hope (and once again believe) that this time it will actually work. Good and healthy food, exercise, balance between work and family time and the ambition of growing both professionally and as a person. Guessing all of these are the most common New Year´s resolutions of all and then we can add more specific goals within all of these things. Still haven´t slept many hours since we got back form LA so the extra time certainly helps with at least having more time to get things going in the house. Before 8 today all Christmas decorations where gone, one not so tasty but super green smoothy in stomach, second washing machine rolling and first work emails sent off. Meanwhile getting two kids to school. But there is so much more left to do & I really hope to get time to visit Formex (Swedish interior fair) that is starting today – so here we go. To 2015 being a very productive year!

Holding on

puder 1 puder 2 puder 3 puder 4It is the most depressing sight outside the window at the moment, not even proper snow – just dirty melting slush puppie making you soaking wet after just one step. Holding on to Spring feelings by looking at beautiful pictures, composing mood boards of soft pastel colors and thinking about rosé wine. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
