Thank you so much everyone for sending me to the finals of Interior Blogger of the Year 2017 in the Elle Decoration Swedish Design Awards. Super happy and proud to be among these great 9 interior bloggers in Sweden. I really do put a lot of work and love into this page so it really warms my heart that so many of you appreciate that. It´s definitely a win just to be a finalist. I´m laughing a bit when seeing all the photos of us nominees as my daughter asked me ”why are you the only one looking so angry, Mom?” Ha ha, I will work on that but trust me, I´m really not, just super uncomfortable in front of a camera.

My third project for JM is now up on the Hitta Hem blog and here some pieces of that. This time an apartment in Lidingö (just outside of Stockholm) with an incredible view. You can´t really see it in the pictures but if you are following me on Instagram this place was heavily featured while working there so then you know. There is a big terrace and it really feels like standing on the water while being there and the sun literally hits it from sunrise to sunset. I´ve seen the most incredible examples of both while setting the interior. I really wanted the result to stay calm and not to take over the whole impression as the view and experience of being in the apartment is so powerful in itself. So a little less colour and things than usual for me and more of a clean slate for the future owner to work from. Many thanks to JM and as always to the very best Marie Ramse and Stefan for being by my side, helping me out and saving me during late nights. And to Kristofer for once again having the patience with – this time – super strong daylight and still making it look so good. I hope you like it. Ax
Every now and then I´m looking for an office just because I have a dream of decorating it and making it my space. But then reality checks in and I see myself not sitting on a chair that often but being out on photo shoots, meetings, props hunts etc etc and then all of a sudden an office seems like an unnecessary investment. Nevertheless, the daydream never stops and for sure I´m going to end up with my own space sometime – hopefully shared with similar minds! Until then I´ll keep on pinning spaces that inspire and this is one of them.
I work with some really good people assisting me on and around my projects but I´m currently in need of finding an additional person to help out. I work as an interior stylist on commercial and editorial shoots, decorate both private homes and offices and have several other up coming projects too.
Are you a freelancing interior styling/decorator assistant or want to become one (or even looking for an internship), please send me an email with a few words about yourself and a CV. It is not a full time position, it could be hours here or days there. Most of my jobs are in the Stockholm area so it will definitely help if you are nearby. You need to be handy, organized, solution oriented, flexible & always up for new challenges as you never know what is coming next in this job. A driver´s license and access to a car is definitely a plus. And hopefully you are at least close to having similar taste and aesthetics as me since I will trust you in helping me finding beautiful things for photo shoots and other projects. Most importantly – it should be fun going to work so hopefully you are a very positive one too.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Breathe people, it´s Friday! It´s been a crazy week with no time at all to even visit Formex or any of all the fun interior events that has been going on in Stockholm this week. Thankful for all the fun projects in front of me now but also have to remind myself to breathe in between. It´s not often a straight path, the turns and twists seem to be never-ending sometimes but I guess I would have to switch occupation if I did not see that as a good challenge. One clever decision this week? To cancel something that could be pushed ahead to be able to work alone from home today. And luckily the sun is out too so the lap top is joining me on the terrace today. Expecting to with lobster skin say happy weekend to you all!
Went shopping for a client in amazing vintage store Dusty Deco the other day and fell in love with this huge photo art by Jens Assur. It definitely needs a big wall with it´s range of 2,5 x 3,5 meters and a big wallet to pay for it (75 000 SEK) but oh how I would love to find the perfect space for that piece.
